Therapy and Rehabilitation

The therapy department at the Wesleyan Village provides comprehensive rehabilitation, wellness and education programs that include physical, occupational and speech therapy through our fully licensed and credentialed professional staff.

The Physical Therapy mission is to restore patients to their highest level of function by applying scientific principles to prevent, identify, alleviate or compensate for neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions.

Occupational therapy trains and instructs patients in gaining the skills necessary to become independent in their social and physical environments. Occupational therapy uses a wide range of intervention to obtain patients' highest level of independence in regards to activities of daily living.

Speech Therapy addresses communication, cognitive reintegration as well as swallowing dysfunction by applying treatment strategies to enhance functional abilities and promote optimal interaction within the environment.
