Wesleyan Life Plan Communities

Wesleyan is synonymous with exceptional senior living. You can count on all lifestyle choices for yourself or someone you love, including maintenance-free independent living, carefree and supportive assisted living, highly specialized memory care, plus comprehensive rehabilitation and long-term care.

Our Communities

Wesleyan is a non-profit Life Plan Community with two campuses six miles apart in Northeast Ohio.

  • Wesleyan Meadows in Sheffield Village offers independent living ranch-style homes with attached garages.
  • Wesleyan Village is located on 17 beautiful acres in Elyria, offering independent living patio homes with attached garages and apartments, plus assisted living apartments.
  • Wesleyan Health and Rehabilitation at Wesleyan Village in Elyria provides a complete continuum of care for our Meadows and Village communities.

Our Historic Beginnings

The Wesleyan history spans more than 100 years when Mary Lilly, a widow living in the heart of Elyria, observed that widows of the area were living in uncomfortable circumstances. Renting a large house in downtown Elyria, Mary invited 12 ladies to share accommodations that she affectionately called “The Old Ladies Home.” Our first benefactor used all her own resources to make sure expenses were met, and encouraged the philanthropic support of the community.

Our Foundation

Wesleyan Senior Living Foundation is supported by generous donations from residents, their families, associates, businesses and the community.

Our Management

Wesleyan communities are managed by Life Care Services®, an LCS® Company. Life Care Services leads the way in senior living with over 40 years of proven experience. This innovative leadership brings passion and performance through strong financial stewardship, lifestyle-centered services as well as high-quality health services in communities as unique as the individuals who live in them.

Our Wellness Approach
